BADA Project

Building on the Ability of Persons with Disabilities

The BADA project aims to empower individuals with disabilities in Ghana by providing essential skills and mental health support. It addresses the social and economic challenges they face, including discrimination and limited access to education and employment.

BADA’s primary goal is to equip participants with vocational skills, such as bead making and sewing, enabling them to achieve financial independence and contribute to their communities. Mental health support, including counseling, helps build resilience and self-confidence.

Additionally, the project works to change societal perceptions and advocates for policies that promote the rights of disabled individuals, fostering an inclusive environment for their independence and participation in society.
