CESIGH Project

COUNSELLOR FOR EACH SCHOOL AND SOCIETY IN GHANA

The CESIGH project by TUCEE Organization aims to introduce professional counsellors in every school across Ghana to tackle the rising mental health crisis among students, who face challenges like academic stress, anxiety, and depression. The initiative’s primary goal is to provide schools with access to qualified mental health support by training teachers to become lay counsellors. This ensures in-house support tailored to the school environment.

CESIGH offers one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and mental health workshops, emphasizing early intervention. The project also raises awareness about mental health, fostering an environment that promotes emotional well-being and equips students with essential tools for academic and personal success.
